The Social Lens approach towards its Impact Measurement Studies has always been tailored to deliver findings drawing from tools that include Community Engagement Measurement frameworks, first of its kind market research as well comprehensive data diagnostics. Social Lens repertoire of work include undertaking evaluations and assessment of schools in the Tribal districts of Maharashtra where large amounts of data was assessed to derive actionable solutions and strategic insights for an overall improvement of the functioning of the schools. The Evaluations practice vertical at Social Lens has conducted independent evaluations that include Needs Assessment of Communities for design of CSR programs, Impact Evaluations of a portfolio of organisations that include Education and Community Development at the end of funding cycles as well as pilot study evaluations that has aided in funding decision.

Social Lens capacity building cohorts till date include coaching of 50+ organisations till date that include Pratham, Agastya International Foundation, Save the Children, India among others. Cohorts have been designed to train second and third line teams as well as ground teams to enhance organisation efficiency and improved individual capability.
The Social Lens approach towards its Capacity building practice includes administering organisation diagnostic tools for determination of Capacity building needs, customisation content and engaging participants in trainings that are intensive and interactive.
Social Lens works with philantropic making institutions through strategic support in the areas of capacity building frameworks for investee NPO portfolio, designing Monitoring and Evaluation solutions, offers advisory on methodologies for adoption in the Capacity building programs. Social Lens co-designs Capacity building support programs for foundations and assists in the implementation of these solutions with investee NPOs.
